Our mission is to harness the power of information and technology to make health and care better for patients. We, as a health and care system, have an opportunity through the use of GP Data for Planning and Research (GPDPR), to do much better. Further to the launch of the GPDPR programme in 2021, the feedback received from the public, patients, and professionals, and the commitments made by Ministers in summer 2021, the programme is being redesigned so that we can realise our ambitions and unlock the benefits for patients.  We will not receive a new direction for this data collection until we have met our commitments in full.
